Most EdTech makes a simple promise:
Take what teachers already use and make it easier, faster, more engaging, or more efficient.
I think that’s aiming too low.
I started Reframe because as an educator I was frustrated with what I couldn’t do for my students. The best learning moments—the ones that spark curiosity and wonder—don’t start with a worksheet or a video. They come from exploration, collaboration, and hands-on problem-solving.
That’s why Reframe isn’t here to optimize the old ways. We’re here to redefine what’s possible when classrooms aren’t constrained by screens, desks, or even walls.
Learning Beyond Screens
We know that task predicts performance. When students are limited to worksheets, PowerPoints, and passive videos, cognitive engagement suffers. But when they move, build, question, and create—together, in real time—learning becomes a joyful, rigorous journey of discovery.
Virtual reality took steps in this direction, but most educational applications of VR miss the point. VR teleports students into a digital world, stripping away their identity, community, and real-world context. That might work for gaming, but it fails to capture the social, relational essence of a classroom.
Reframe Changes That
Instead of replacing the classroom, we augment it.
With mixed reality, teachers turn their physical space into an interactive, 3D learning hub—placing virtual activities, labs, and objects around the room. Students explore and collaborate within their real-world environment—no avatars, no isolation.
And teachers? They stay in control. With a simple web platform (and sometimes a headset!), they design lessons, monitor progress, and group students dynamically.
It’s high-tech where it needs to be, invisible where it doesn’t.
Education, The Way It Should Be
Reframe brings students together in shared, immersive experiences, making learning natural and social—the way we know it works.
Because the future of education isn’t about putting more content on screens. It’s about breaking down the walls between the physical and digital worlds—helping students interact with ideas in ways that feel relevant, meaningful, and human.
I’m grateful to the students and educators who have helped shape this vision. Your belief in Reframe is why we exist.
The future of education isn’t about escaping the classroom—it’s about reframing it.
